Surge and sway is are linear forces and tipping the seat or rig is not a realistic way of simulating them. It just feels like you’ve got soft suspension! The eSeat+ for PC and console (requires console controller) adds a feeling of cornering with the seat base and back plates moving. The sideways motion of the seat plates forces you into the bolsters. Braking and accelerating are simulated with the plates moving forwards and rearwards. These force you into or away from the seat back. Additionally, the eSeat+ comes with a 6 point harness. Unlike other seat belt tensioners, the belt uniquely pulls in both directions. You feel the tension across your whole torso rather than just on your shoulders. It provides an even better feeling of sustained lateral and braking/accelerating forces.
