After plugging the fans in, go to the Device Manager. For instructions on how to do this click here:
1. make a note of the ‘JRK 21v3′ COM port number
2. Select the ‘Hamburger in SimTools and then ‘Interface settings’.
3. Select ‘Dash Setup’.
4. Select ‘Serial’ from the drop down list.
5. Enter the COM port number and the other information shown in the image.
6. Press ‘Save’.
7. Press ‘Home’.
8. Select a game to ad the fans and click on ‘Dash Settings’
9. Click on ‘Output settings’
10. If the fields are empty enter the following information:

In the drop down list select ‘20ms’ for Output Rate
11. Click on ‘Output Settings’ again.
12. Click on the pencil for speed.
13. If there are no rules set, enter the following text into the box:
Clamp 0 200
Map 0 200 63 84
Round 0
Tobin
14. Press ‘Exit’
Please note the ‘clamp 0 200′ number in the first line relates to the speed of the car to make the fans turn at the maximum speed. If the speed is output in MPH then you will get max fan speed at 200MPH. If it’s measured in ‘km/h’ which is 1.6x MPH then the clamp would be set to 0 320. Some games output speed in m/s so the clamp would be 0 90.
If you do change the Clamp numbers, please also change the first two ‘Map’ numbers to match. Do not alter the ‘63 84′ or any other rules or the fans wont work.
15. Press ‘Save as Default’ or select ‘Save as Global’ so you can quickly add the settings to other games.
