Surge and traction loss are linear forces and tipping the seat or rig is not a realistic way of simulating them. It just feels like you’ve got soft suspension! The STL is a surge and traction loss motion platform for PC and console (requires console controller). It simulates accelerating, braking and gear shifts by moving the whole rig forwards and rearwards. With a pivot point at the front, it also simulates loss of traction by swinging the rig left or right.

Please note the top surface of the STL is 1025x520mm. If the footprint of your rig is larger then an adapter plate may be necessary. We will require you to provide us with the ‘X’ and ‘Y’ dimensions in order to supply the correct sized plate. This is whether your cockpit frame is larger as shown with the red box or it’s the actuator feet.
